pro·caff·ei·nating (n): the act of using coffee to avoid work and other responsibilities

New York City is indisputably the coffee capital of America. According to a recent study by WalletHub, New York has more coffee shops per capita than any other city in the country and patch.com definitively ranked New York as the best coffee city in America. With independent coffeeshops now beginning to outrank bug chains in the Big Apple, we set out with a mission: to search for and find some of the best coffee spots in the city.

To learn more about us, the authors of this website, head on over to the About Us page. To read our always honest reviews of everywhere we’ve visited, check out the Posts tab. The Locations Visited tab houses a growing list of the name and address of every location we’ve visited and if you’re into all sorts of coffee-themed food porn, the Photo Gallery is the place to be!

We hope you enjoy this site and reading our reviews as much as we enjoyed traveling out to coffee shops and writing them. Just be careful to keep your procaffeination in check!

Peace, love, and coffee,

Chiara and DJ
